Post-Party Beauty Help

Friday night (and the four hours of sleep we managed) has left us feeling a little haggard.  So, we checked in with one of our friends who never seems to age and always has a glow about her to see how we can try to undo, or at least mask, the damage done last night.  She suggested the following:

1. A good homemade face mask.  Mix together these ingredients:
2 tsp. of whole milk yogurt
1 table spoon ground up oatmeal
3 drops lavender essential oil

Apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes.

2. Honey is enzyme-rich and good for both your hair and skin.  It's anti-bacterial so it helps clear up acne, plus it helps to fight sun damage.  You can apply it directly to your face (or look online for ways to incorporate it into a facial).

3. To make your body skin shine, especially before faux tanning (which we are going to do today in an attempt to look more alive), try the following:
Mix 1 cup Organic thick granulated sugar mixed with a bit of olive oil or grape seed oil, and scrub your body with it. To help reduce cellulite, add grapefruit essential oil.

4. Lemon juice closes your pores, so use a little on your face before bed tonight.

Here's hoping for a natural, Broke Girl-friendly facial miracle!
